Central Freight Lines Leases 53,220 SF in Bolingbrook
Bolingbrook, IL (March 16, 2009) -- IDI, a full-service industrial real estate company, has closed a five-year, 53,220-square-foot lease with Central Freight Lines Inc., a leading regional less-than-truckload (LTL) carrier. The lease was signed on behalf of Central Freight Lines by Southwest Premier Properties, a real estate holding company.
Central Freight Lines’ new freight operations are housed at Bolingbrook Corporate Center in a 53,220-square-foot distribution building originally developed by IDI as a build-to-suit facility for Toyota Motor Corp. The company uses the freight terminal to consolidate products from multiple shippers into single truckloads.
“The building is strategically located, providing excellent access to Interstate 55 and Chicago’s other major interstates, as well as proximity to the area’s premier product-distribution network,” said Jeff Smith, vice president of leasing and development in IDI’s Chicago development office. Smith represented IDI in the lease deal and Jack Cozzie of Grubb & Ellis represented Central Freight Lines.
