Carolina Logistics Leases 400,596 SF from IDI

Carlisle, PA (March 9, 2007) -- Carolina Logistics has signed two separate leases with IDI to occupy a total of 400,596 square feet at the Golden Triangle distribution center in Carlisle, Pa., southwest of Harrisburg.

A third-party logistics outsourcing company specializing in returned-goods management, Carolina Logistics will use the facility to distribute goods for a major national retailer. Approximately 2,000 square feet of the building will be office space.

Recently acquired by IDI, Golden Triangle distribution center is a cross-dock facility with 32-foot clear-height ceilings, 52-foot by 52-foot column spacing and an ESFR sprinkler system. The facility, located at 100 Louis Parkway, also offers extensive trailer parking.

“Golden Triangle provides Carolina Logistics modern, strategically located distribution space,” said Frank Petkunas, vice president and regional development officer for IDI. “The Harrisburg market is a major hub for Northeast distribution, and Golden Triangle is located less than one mile from Interstate 81 and under two miles from Interstate 76.”

Larry Maister and Wit Truitt of CB Richard Ellis represented Carolina Logistics in the lease deal, and Frank Petkunas represented IDI.
