IDI to Develop 130,000-SF Regional HQ for Porsche Cars North America - Aug 6, 2008 -- IDI, a full-service industrial real estate company, has been selected by Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) to develop a 130,000-square-foot regional headquarters facility in Palmer Township, Pa., north of Allentown. PCNA, an importer of Porsche sports cars and Cayenne sports utility vehicles, has signed a 10-year lease with IDI for an initial 130,000 square feet which also gives the luxury car company the option to expand into an additional 32,000 square feet within the same facility.
IDI Opens Largest LEED-Certified Building in the Southeast - Jun 4, 2008 -- Crossroads Distribution Center Building F, an 800,308-square-foot warehouse and distribution center near Memphis, has received recognition as a LEED Silver-certified building by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). It is the largest industrial space to receive LEED certification in the Southeast and the first certification for an IDI facility.

Alston & Bird Leases 82,416 SF from IDI - Nov 14, 2007 -- IDI, a full-service real estate development firm, has closed an 82,416-square-foot lease with law firm Alston & Bird at WestPoint at Riverside in Lithia Springs, Ga. Atlanta-based Alston & Bird will occupy the newly constructed WestPoint Building B at 2600 West Point Drive in a 10-year lease that takes effect February 1, 2008. The law firm will use the WestPoint building as a records storage facility.

Caterpillar Logistics Services Leases 160,660 SF from IDI - May 24, 2007 -- IDI, a full-service real estate development firm, has leased 160,660 square feet of space to Caterpillar Logistics Services Inc. at Southgate Commerce Center in Montgomery, Ill., southwest of downtown Chicago. Exel Leases 165,980 SF at IDI's Airways Distribution Center - Jan 9, 2006 -- Global logistics company Exel Inc. has signed a lease to occupy 165,980 square feet at IDI’s Airways Distribution Center Building D in Southaven, Miss. Exel now occupies five IDI buildings in the Memphis area totaling 1.1 million square feet. In addition, the lease brings the 2.7-million-square-foot Airways Distribution Center – located in the DeSoto County submarket of Memphis – to 100-percent occupancy.
IDI/RGDC Begin Construction on 680,000-SF Inventory Building in New Jersey - Dec 21, 2005 -- In a joint venture agreement, IDI and Rockefeller Group Development Corporation (RGDC) have commenced construction on a 680,000-square-foot inventory/distribution facility in the pivotal Exit 8A submarket of New Jersey. The building will be completed in August 2006.
Global Equipment Co. Signs 517,628-SF Lease with IDI - Dec 19, 2005 -- IDI has closed a 517,628-square-foot lease with Global Equipment Co. at Building M in Hamilton Mill Business Center, located in Buford, Ga. Global Equipment signed a long-term lease to occupy the space beginning in May 2006.
IDI Names Jay Mitchell Regional Development Officer - Dec 8, 2005 -- IDI has chosen Jay Mitchell to head up the Atlanta regional office as vice president and regional development officer. Mitchell – who currently is vice president of national leasing and marketing for IDI Services Group, the third-party leasing and property management subsidiary of IDI – will transition into the new role over the next several weeks. Mitchell replaces William B. Hare Jr., who resigned Nov. 30 to pursue other business interests.
IDI Promotes Tim Gunter to President, David Birdwell to COO - Oct 27, 2005 -- To prepare for a smooth transition following his eventual retirement, IDI founding President and CEO Henry D. “Greg” Gregory Jr. has announced a second set of executive promotions, to take effect Jan. 1, 2006. Tim Gunter will be promoted to president, while David Birdwell, who is currently chief financial officer, will be promoted to COO. Gunter, IDI’s current COO, will assume the role of president from Gregory, who will remain CEO. Gregory made the announcements at a recent company-wide staff meeting and interactive broadcast.

IDI Achieves 100% Pre-lease at Northpark 75 - Sep 30, 2005 -- MC Supply Inc. has signed a 76,625-square-foot lease with IDI at Northpark 75 business park in Kennesaw, Ga., north of Atlanta. MC Supply, a distributor of industrial containers, will occupy Building D, located at 4005 Royal Drive, in November. With this latest lease signing, the 176,500-square-foot Building D is 100% pre-leased. Harold M. Pitman Co. and Seagull Floors Inc. previously signed leases to occupy the building, which is scheduled to be completed in mid-October.
IDISG Wins 1.1-Million-SF Management Assignment - Sep 30, 2005 -- IDI Services Group (IDISG), the property management subsidiary of national real estate developer IDI, has been awarded an assignment to manage two distribution facilities totaling 1.1 million square feet for Dividend Capital Trust. IDISG will manage the 544,000-square-foot DCT 100 Interstate South building in the Eagles Landing area of South Atlanta and the 540,000-square-foot Clorox Distribution Facility in Dallas, Texas.
Spectrum Plastics Signs 53,055-SF Lease with IDI - Sep 23, 2005 -- IDI has closed a 53,055-square-foot lease with Spectrum Plastics at Stateline Business Park in Southaven, Miss., just south of Memphis. Spectrum Plastics is scheduled to occupy Building C at the business park on November 1. The company – an affiliate of IPS Industries Inc. and a supplier of plastic shopping bags, restaurant take-out bags and industrial plastics – will use the space for storage and distribution.
IDI Closes 160,100-SF Lease with Food Service Supplier - Sep 12, 2005 -- Edward Don & Company, a distributor of food service equipment and supplies, has signed a 15-year lease with IDI to occupy 160,100 square feet of space at Miramar Business Center in Miramar, FL. The food service company, which is scheduled to occupy Miramar Building B in January, plans to use 20,000 square feet of the warehouse facility for office space and the remainder for distribution and storage.
Cincinnati Machine Leases 51,600 SF from IDI - Sep 6, 2005 -- Cincinnati Machine LLC has signed a 51,600-square-foot lease with IDI at Park West International, a 16-building business park in Hebron, Ky. A global supplier of machine tools and manufacturing systems, Cincinnati Machine will move into Building Q in October and make the building its world headquarters. It will use the space for warehousing, distribution, technical support and call center functions.
Kao Brands Signs 351,000-SF Lease with IDI - Aug 11, 2005 -- Kao Brands Company has signed a 351,000-square-foot lease with IDI at Port Union at Union Centre in metro Cincinnati. Kao Brands will move into building F, the largest spec building ever constructed in the Cincinnati area consisting of 697,500 square feet, at year end and will use the space for warehousing and distribution.
